Founded in January 2006, our mission is to provide a venue for the exchange of knowledge and ideas for the handweavers of Central Virginia.
 
We began with 22 Charter Members and have continued to add to our numbers.   Our members come from 5 counties surrounding Charlottesville and represent all levels of weaving skills, from beginning weavers through production weavers and weaving instructors.
